Stop overthinking

I listened to an amazing podcast on my a walk the other day. It was regarding business however, the key messages are transferable to all aspects of life. The advice I took from it is this:
Stop overthinking - don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today
Where are you holding yourself back because something is out of your comfort zone?
Small steps lead to huge changes
Start messy, uncomfortable and let go of the notion you have to have it it all figured out
Just do it!
Don’t compare yourself to others
It is a waste of energy
We’re all different - different personalities, experience and goals
Stop scrolling and comparing!
Stop taking things so personally
one great lesson that was a game changer for me is this: most people are too focussed on themselves to worry about you AND their opinions/actions are not about you but are actually a reflection of them
Take feedback and grow, don’t let it hold you back (that is just silly)
You may be busy but, are you getting the results you actually need or want?
Productivity should be about the results you are getting, not the hours you put in
Work smarter!
Have you got a growth or fixed mindset?
Be open to opportunities
Read and learn
Accept anything is possible
Observe your thoughts, do they drive you forward or hold you back?
Embrace the unknown
I repeat - Start messy, uncomfortable and let go of the notion you have to have it all figured out (no one does!)
Be excited, be scared, just take that first tiny step
If you consider the above in relation to you, your life and your goals - what is one thing you can do differently today?

The podcast that inspired me was Applied Fitness Mentoring, episode 207
