Progress over perfection

Big goals sound great, until you realise that they don’t just magically happen overnight.
Do you remember learning to ride a bike? I don’t but, I’m pretty sure I’ll remember my daughter learning.
It’s not about doing everything all at once. It’s about showing up consistently in small, intentional ways.
One page a day turns into a book
One workout a day turns into a strong body
One mindful choice a day turns into contentment
One cycle a day turns into a bike ride with daddy
You become what you do consistently, not what you hope to do someday.
Sure, bursts of motivation feel exciting but it’s our routines that will carry us when motivation fizzles (and trust me, it will fizzle). That’s where the real transformation happens.
So don’t wait for the perfect time, perfect plan, or perfect version of yourself. Just start. Keep it simple. Keep it daily. Keep it intentional.
Progress over perfection, always.
Small steps = Big change
One pedal at a time!
